2010

Our beginning

Expert environmental, health, and safety professionals found the consulting firm Shelter Srl.
2011

The first year

SHELTER secures its first consulting contracts, laying the foundation for its consolidation and the creation of a multidisciplinary team.
2012

The beginning of social commitment

We begin to demonstrate the company's social role in a concrete way. With an annual donation, we support a nonprofit association for the long-distance adoption of a child in Ethiopia. This key role will be expanded by supporting an NGO active with immigrants social integration and becoming Corporate Golden Donor of FAI.
2013

We go online

Online the first corporate website, intended for the communication of the values of the proposed services and its way of doing business in the field of environmental consulting, health and safety.
2014

Focus on people

The workforce is increasing in number by exceeding 10 units, not losing sight of the focus on people. This is demonstrated by the use of long-term contractual tools, a multi-year training plan and a strong openness to confrontation. The result is a retention of resources and thus very low turnover.
2015

We do quality work

We immediately adopted a quality management system, obtaining certification in 2015. The goal is to have an organizational and cultural framework typical of large companies, able to be able to meet the needs of customers, while maintaining the flexibility typical of a small company.
2016

The project that makes us grow

We win the contract for environmental monitoring throughout the pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases of the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) and coordinate the delicate management of olive tree removal, temporary storage, and replanting. TAP is one of the top ten most significant projects in Europe and has been declared of public utility by the Italian government.
2017

Our HSE management system

To the HS (Health and Safety) certification of our management system, obtained in 2017, we are adding E (Environment) in 2019.
2018

Growth continues

Following the consolidation of the partnership with RSK Group limited, a British company capable of supporting us globally, We purchase the shares of RSK Environment Italia srl to integrate the services we perform in the field of environmental characterization and remediation.
2019

Consistent with our philosophy

As part of our green activities, we strive to reduce our ecological footprint by making the office PLASTIC FREE by maximizing its energy efficiency and sponsoring the redevelopment of public green space near our office.
2020

Partnership

We modify the corporate structure to allow our employees to become shareholders.
2021

We inaugurate the new office

We have a new office in Brindisi, Apulia.
2022

The team expands again

We have opened a new office in Sassari, Sardinia.
2023

We differentiate services: sustainability advisory

SHELTER wins an international tender to prepare an Oil Company's first sustainability report, including the Energy Transition Roadmap. We also publish our first Sustainability Report to share the value generated by our activities.
2024

New director and partners for a continuos development and stable future

In its 14th year, SHELTER celebrated the addition of Claudio Scura to the board of directors and the farewell of founding partner Sergio Meola. In addition, we welcomed Mauro Cairo and Alessandro Aresu as new partners, consolidating our commitment to employee empowerment and participation in company growth. GO, SHELTER GO!
